Assistance in pre- and post blast analysis

Using special computerized methodology, ESI Security Technology can assist security officers to accurately and non-conservatively establish 3D layouts of exclusion zones in pre-blast situations. With scenarios such as bomb threats or suspicious packages reported in a critical facility (such as a large hospital), ESI Security Technology can assist in estimating which areas of the facility would be most affected by the explosion and must be evacuated.

ESI Security Technology can assist in post-blast assessment to estimate the size and type of a bomb. This assessment is performed using a special computerized method and a set of models that consider deformations experienced by specific landmarks present in the vicinity of a blast.

Given a reported location of a suspected explosive device and its description, ESI Security Technology can provide a printout showing recommended placement of security barriers that would guard the exclusion zone. Three optional security zone layouts (best, typical, minimal) are provided to assist the security officers in planning the actual layout that minimizes disturbances to public and vehicle flows. A simple software tool that encapsulates this capability can be provided to the security officers for independent use.
