Urban Security of Financial Institutions software takes into account special features of the building structure as well as the protective measures taken, such as construction of a protective wall of a certain height to protect from bomb blasts. Results show the life cycle costs of the protective measures over various life cycle periods (up to and more than 25 years). The software models of the structure and blast effects can be used to take into account the effect of the protective measures on risk reduction in order to estimate the reduction in insurance premiums.
